WILLS
For most a Will is essential – it guarantees that beyond your death, that your estate and all of its net worth is distributed as you wish, not broken apart according to a formula laid down by an Act of Parliament!
People often do not realise that within your Will you can make provisions for Tax Planning and stipulations for the appointment of Executors and legal Guardians for Children under the age of 18.
In addition to office appointments we offer both home and hospital visits which enables us to meet with you face to face – working in this way ensures that each of your requests are discussed thoroughly and thoughtfully, making sure that the very best of decisions are taken at all times.

POWERS OF ATTORNEY
A Lasting Power of Attorney grants the authority to another to deal with your affairs on your behalf up to and including the event of mental incapacity.
There are two types of Lasting Power of Attorney: the first relates to Property and Affairs and the second to Personal Welfare. Each document is totally separate from the other, one dealing with the mechanics of property sale, investments and payment of care fees and the other relating to Personal Welfare e.g. life sustaining treatment.
M. Reynolds Partnership deals with the registration of the Lasting Power of Attorney with the Office of the Public Guardian. Assistance can be given with regard to the registration of an enduring Power of Attorney created before October 2007 which may be necessary as a result of the mental incapacity of an individual. We are also happy to advise on ordinary Power of Attorney and General Power of Attorney.
We consider a Lasting Power of Attorney to be one of the most important documents in any lifetime planning, that is why we are happy to meet with you at home or within our offices.
